We hope everyone had a great weekend! Danielle and Rachael have decided to participate in Yvonne from Socrates’ Book Reviews’ 2021 NetGalley Reading Challenge. If you use Edelweiss instead, you can also participate as well! Danielle and Rachael both use NetGalley. We will both list our goal and keep a running list of books that we have finished. A link to this post will be kept in our bio on our Instagram. You can check out our Instagram here.
Please note that both of us have high approval rates because we are listed as an educator and librarian respectively. Do not feel discouraged if you are not getting approved for ARCs. Keep it up and you’ll be approved for some!
The challenge guidelines are as follows (taken from Yvonne’s blog):
- The challenge runs from January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021. There is no deadline for you to sign up.
- Everyone is welcome to participate, even if you don’t have a blog.
- Any genre, release date, length, etc. counts — the book just needs to be from NetGalley.
- Books can count for more than one challenge that you are participating in.
- The first day of each month, Yvonne will post a “link up” for you to post your reviews. If you aren’t able to post one month, just catch up the next month.
- If you have any questions, please ask Yvonne through her blog!
